Privacy and readership stats

We use self-hosted Umami to understand which pages people read, where visits come from, and clicks on source links, promotions and Prompt Collector. The dashboard is private.

Analytics uses no tracking cookies. We do not collect names, email addresses, form contents or recordings of your screen. We keep page paths and campaign tags; other query parameters and referrer paths are removed. IP addresses are processed to estimate visits and location, but are not stored as raw IP addresses in the analytics database. Our hosting server also keeps ordinary security and request logs.

We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Browser blocking may mean some visits are not counted. These figures are estimates, not an exact count of people.

Current Copilot promotions link to Microsoft and do not contain ad-network tracking. Microsoft and other linked sites have their own privacy policies.
